The Horror Became Reality

It all started with a prickling sensation down my spine. I tried to rationalize it, but the feeling only grew. A sense of impending doom, like a thick fog, began to suffocate me. I knew in my gut, with an unshakeable conviction, that something was terribly wrong. My intuition screamed me, and I couldn't shake the feeling that this was more than just a bad dream.
